Asparagus Casserole

2 Tablespoons margarine
2 Tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1/4 cup grated cheese
1 teaspoon onion juice
Worcestershire sauce (to taste)
3 eggs -- boiled and chopped
1 No. 2 can asparagus
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup buttered bread crumbs

Make white sauce by melting margarine (or butter), adding flour, and whisking in milk. Cook and stir slowly until thickened. Add cheese, onion juice, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and eggs to sauce. Drain asparagus and add to mixture. Pour in casseroledish and top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake in 350 oven for 20 minutes or so until crumbs are browned.

Easy Hamburger Casserole

3 or 4 potatoes, thinly sliced
1/2 cup uncooked rice1 sliced onion
2 lb. ground meat, browned
1 sliced bell pepper (optional)
8 oz tomato juice or more

Layer in order in casserole dish. Pour tomato juice over the mixture until you can see the juice. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
